Sonning CE Primary School is a popular school situated within the village of Sonning on Thames. We are a one form entry school with 210 pupils (ages 4 to 11 years) and we are proud of retaining a lovely family atmosphere where everyone is valued and can contribute to the life of our school.

Reading Bluecoat Secondary School

Reading Blue Coat School is an independent school for boys aged 11-18, with a co-educational Sixth Form. Facilities include a new Geology and Psychology building, new 23-classroom teaching block and art department, an all-purpose sports centre, a dedicated Sixth Form Centre, a boathouse on the Thames, a cricket pavilion and an indoor swimming pool. While academic success is important at Blue Coat, there is also a generous co-curricular provision in both sport and the Arts, as well as a Combined Cadet Force, D of E and an extensive programme of trips and visits. The school presents numerous shows and concerts - both at lunchtime and in the evening – to which everybody, and particularly residents of Sonning, are invited.
